Color Crush: Green
I am in love with everything green at the moment. It feels so fresh and energising for summer. I’ve got new botanic prints, plants all over my home and I’m picking out paint samples to repaint an accent wall from blue to dark green. I can’t get enough. I know green is the color of the year, so I may just be jumping on a trend, but I feel like green is such a constant that it can almost be considered a neutral. It can be combined with so many colors, from blues and corals to stark black and white. I don’t think I will tire of it after the summer fades away because green can feel so cozy in fall and winter. We shall see, but in the meantime I’ve got a mood board for you with all the gorgeous greens I could find for the hot, lazy days of summer.

The botanic prints are from Dutch online shop My Deer Art Shop. I ordered the set of five A5-sized botanic prints and I’m so happy with them. That pillow is from H&M at it costs €9.99! I adore the wallpaper from South African artist Clinton Friedman. It would be so much fun to do a powder room with those gorgeous leaves. The flip flops are from Havianas and are on sale on Zalando. And as much as I love the palm tree shorts, I’m really more of a jumpsuit kind of a girl. I’m really digging this silky emerald green jumpsuit from Oysho. It would look fabulous with a bikini underneath, cocktail in hand. I’m now mentally transported to the beach…..
What do you think about green? Are you loving it this summer as well?
Have a great week!

Nicole
